Did you know Vondis has been preparing special food for cancer patients for 15 years?

Nathaniel Duarte

“After our bulldog was diagnosed with Leukaemia, we decided to switch to an all-natural organic diet and Vondis was the perfect solution. Not only do they make healthy holistic food which is far superior to anything you can buy at pet stores/vets, they also offered to prepare us specially formulated cancer packs which were mostly vegetable based with less grains and carbohydrates to assist with our dogs cancer treatment. The results have been ASTOUNDING, our sick little bulldog has never had such a healthy appetite – he literally wolfs down this food. Our weimaraner is equally obsessed, over and above her looking forward to devouring each serving, her stubborn weight gain problem has subsided and she is looking fit and slender again. Vondis prepares all their food fresh on site in Sea Point inside a kitchen fit for the best restaurants on the strip, and with ingredients like this, it’s an easy decision to switch from kibble to real food: chicken/ostrich/beef, brown rice, whole egg, carrots, celery, garlic, olive oil, fennel, spinach, red lentils, rosemary, sage, mint…. the list goes on. I wish we had found Vondis sooner, our dogs would have been far healthier and happier!!!”

Conventional cancer therapy isn’t working.

Conventional cancer treatment by the medical industry is not working — and is a failure.

“The same struggle against cancer in humans applies to our pets. In fact, cancer in dogs and cats has almost become a common ailment and the stats show that there is no improvement. The situation is getting worse”

Paul Jacobson, from Vondis, sheds light on why our pets are struggling with this dread disease…

”Nutrition is serious health business. The public is not well served by exclusively feeding products from companies without any real commitment to health…or knowledge of how to even achieve that. Recent studies have shown processed foods to be a factor in increasing numbers of pets suffering from cancer, arthritis, obesity, dental disease and heart disease”. Dr. Randy Wysong, DVM.

“Every time a pet trustingly eats another bowl of high sugar pet food, he is being brought that much closer to diabetes, hypoglycemia, overweight, nervousness, cataracts, allergy and death.” Dr. R.Geoffrey Broderick DVM.

“During my thirty years of veterinary practice I have often been upset by the poor condition I see some of my canine patients in due to inferior quality diets that the owner honestly believes to be adequate. In good faith the dog owner assumes that since the dog food label proclaims “complete and balanced”, “premium”, “high protein”, and so on, that their dog will automatically do just great if that’s all it is fed. Because of ambiguous or deceptive labeling of the dog food, the owner unknowingly will feed an inadequate diet. And it may be decades before the FDA requires more strict guidelines for dog food manufacturers to follow so that misleading, ambiguous, and sometimes phony labeling practices no longer confuse or trick the purchaser.” Dr. T. J. Dunn, Jr. DVM.

We must have faith that our bodies are equipped to deal with free radicals, virus and bacteria but it needs our support. We need to strengthen our bodies immunity rather than compromising or challenging it.

All boils down to correct nutrition that is whole and true and is naturally enriched with nutrients. That said, the earth does not produce vegetable and food like it once did and that is why supplementation is essential, especially when dealing with sickness and grave illness. In the case of fighting cancer and high veggies and high meat protein diet is recommended supported by omega 3 fish oil, cannabis oil, apple cider vinegar and probiotics.

Diabetes, also is a common ailment. Obviously we should not be feeding foods that contained refined carbs and have a high GI rating. Thus, kibble food (mainly carbs) should be eliminated completely. Whilst, it is always tempting to offer that biscuit treat, they all contain refined carbs and flours. Thus rather offer fatty biltong or a meat snack or raw bone, as a treat.

When treating diabetes we must make sure to feed a diet that contains lots of green veggies and certainly stay away from high sugar carb diets, like all kibble. One should supplement with omega 3 fish oils and lots of natural probiotics.
